Elfgrafix/Emma is a part-time artist from the UK who likes to play video games, read books and draw. She adores animals, has a cat, lots of tropical fish and a fish pond. She is the creator of Guardian Wings.
What is the main genre of your comic? What appeals to you about that genre?
Supernatural, I love the unknown, and how atmospheric it can be.
Are there any other genres that apply to your comic?
Fantasy, Action, Superhero.
What was your inspiration for the story?
It started when I visited a huge cathedral in France, and it was the huge gargoyles and statues and the structure that seemed to had inspired me. As well as watching a lot of the paranormal television programs.
What is your process like for creating comic pages from start to finish? What tools do you use?
I use CSP, and I use a lot of cel shading, but sometimes I like to experiment with new brushes.
Is your comic a finished work? If not, how long do you think you think it’s going to be when it’s complete? Is there a definitive ending or will you just keep going for as long as possible?
No, it will be completed next year, but it does tie in with my main story. Which I am hoping to make into another season.
What was the biggest hurdle you faced during the course of making of your comic? If you could go back in time to the point where you just started making it and give yourself a pep talk, what would you say?
Getting the confidence to do it and share it. But the one bit advice I would give myself would be don’t rush and rest more.
What is your favorite part about working on your comic?
Drawing the character’s facial expressions.
What is the most difficult part about working on your comic? How do you overcome it?
lighting, I managed to overcome it when I had a break, and came back with a fresh head, now I love doing it.
Do you have a favorite character to write for? If so, why? Tell us more about them!
I love all my character’s! But if I had to pick one, I would choose Michael as he is a gentle giant and a gentlemen, an all-round sweet heart.
Which character gives you the most difficulty to write for?
Well to be honest I haven’t had any issues, but I think the demon has been fairly hard for me.
Do you have a favorite character to draw?
Feather as they are easy.

The demon’s as I have so many designs.
